  2. I love this movie also, it is so wonderful, delightful, St. Bernadette has suffered greatly for Our Lady, and she was just so innocent. Thank You for sharing this with me

  3. I love this movie filled with emotions i shade tears at the wonders of our blessed mother Mary. It was not easy for Benedette. The attitudes of the Lourdes officials and priests was natural. Even in our own time such happens. But I thank God and my Mother Mary for the miracles that stands from ages till date. Mary Mediatrix of all Graces Pray for Me.

  4. I am so touched by this movie,it's worth watching. The simplicity and humility of St. Bernadette are one of the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary which must be imitated in this life. May Jesus and Mama Mary be forever loved!

  5. This is an extremely moving inspirational Movie almost depressing in a way. I first watched it as a member of a Boy's Choir with my 3 brothers decades ago {likely the early 60s in black and white of course}. I recall being captivated with the now deceased actress Jennifer Jones whom I perceived [even physically} as soooo similar to my own mother. She was the epitome of not only saintliness but ultra femininity. "A man ought not even touch a being like that" is my favourite line from this Biblical Movie spoken by the young man desiring to take her for his wife. I wish female Public school teachers would show this movie in class as a Role Model for young girls or at least start showing this Masterpiece again during prime time TV on Easter Day combined with Jesus Of Nazareth/Ben Hur/10 Commandments/Greatest Story Ever Told/Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima; is this asking too much or, would it offend both non-believers and, the hardened Libs?
